I'm a THM or Trim Healthy Mama!
Trim Healthy Mama Beginning:
Well, I've started my journey with the Trim Healthy Mama Plan or THM for short. I've been doing keto/low carb for a while but there's some foods that I've really been missing such as grapes, blackberries and bread. Would you believe that with this plan I can now eat them?
I've seen so many recipes that follow both TMM, Low Carb and Keto so I'm pretty sure I'll like the change. Unbeknownst to me, one of my sisters has also been looking at THM. She did a lot of research and thought it would be easier to follow than Weight Watchers so she told me about it. I also thought it would be a great fit for me so I ordered the Trim Healthy Mama Plan book.
I'm going to be honest, it's a lot to take in but everything I've read so far makes so much sense! My goal is the keep the weight off that I lost with gastric bypass surgery by eating in a healthy way and this plan is a way to do that. I can't wait to try all of the wonderful recipes which will allow me to incorporate foods that I have not had in a while. I will share with you the things I learn about this new way of eating and the struggles and successes along the way. Please comment with your experience with THM lifestyle or with your questions about it.
Please join me as I progress through this new way of eating. I'll be posting about my journey and also be posting some THM recipes. A lot of these are also keto/low carb so even if you don't follow the THM plan you might find some that fit your way of eating.
